SOUTH AFRICAN POLICE SERVICE (SAPS) CRICKET TOURNAMENT
The SAPS hosts this tournament yearly to develop the physical skills of the Paarl communities youth. One hundred and twenty children from Windmeul Primary, Nieuwedrift Primary, Alfons Primary, Kersboslaagte Primary, Daljosaphat Primary, Sonop Primary and Ronw� Primary enjoyed a fun day of cricket and deliciously prepared meals sponsored by Hungry Lion.
STAFF CHARITY CHALLENGE
Together with their regional managers they each nominated a charity and arranged Christmas parties and donations for the children of these centres. CHRISTMAS PARTIES
In the spirit of generosity, we hosted Christmas parties for the children of Ethembeni Creche & Safe House (Delft, Western Cape), “Paarl/Franschhoek se kinders” (Western Cape), and Kondwa Orphanage (Lusaka). Hungry Lion also donated non-perishable food, meals & gift bags to these Institutions.

MELTON ROSE LIBRARY – SPRING DAY EVENT
Melton Rose Library organise programmes to keep children out of the streets and focus on healthy and positive activities. Hungry Lion donated x150 soccer balls towards this event & The Lucky Bucket was also there to entertain the kids!

Hungry Lion partnered with Shoprite’s Gauteng Division by sponsoring meals during the upgrade of the Tshimollo Home for children with disability in Johannesburg.

Hungry Lion treated the children from Silindokuhle Creche (Eastern Cape), Oranje Selfhelp (Free State), Ekujabuleni Kwa Badala Day Care Centre (Gauteng) & Yiza Ekhaya Soup Kitchen (Western Cape) with delicious Hungry Lion ice creams & goodies.
HUNGRY LION SUPPORTS NSRI
These floating devices are used by professionals during swimming lessons. They were also strategically placed on key beaches to be used as floating devices by someone in need.
